Phoenicia Bakery and Deli carries foods from around the world with an emphasis on Mediterranean specialties.

We even carry hard-to-find Middle Eastern groceries, like pomegranate syrup for making the Persian stew fesenjan!

Our amazing bakery choices include homemade Persian candies and pastries (try flaky pistachio baklava, pistachio fleurets and cashew fingers) and treats like tasty chocolate-chunk peanut butter cookies and moist, not-overly-sweet apricot strudel.

Fresh breads include Phoenicia's famous white and wheat pita.

For your lunch needs, don't miss out on our savory dolmas (rice and pine nut-stuffed grape leaves), gyro sandwiches and falafel. There is also our white-bean and tuna salad which gets a lot of zing from red onions, parsley and lemon juice.

The Store

Phoenicia Bakery and Deli is dominated by its grocery section, with large bakery cases and a takeout counter at opposite ends of the store. Offerings include countless fresh olive and cheese varieties (try lemon-marinated green olives), plus vinegar, rice, jam, tea and Middle Eastern spices. Persian cookbooks and CDs are also for sale.
